Ajiki Tomilola Philip is a 300-level Medicine and Surgery student at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos. A beneficiary of the Funmike Empowerment Foundation Scholarship, this support has been a major turning point in his academic journey, providing the encouragement and stability needed to focus on his medical training, leadership development, and long-term goal of giving back to society.
Tomilola is a purpose-driven and highly dedicated individual with a strong passion for excellence in healthcare, research, and creative design. Alongside his medical education, he is skilled in graphic design, creatively blending medicine with innovation to contribute meaningfully to both academic and extracurricular pursuits. His curiosity for knowledge extends into research, where he enjoys exploring ideas that can translate into real-world impact.
He has volunteered In several community outreach programs, reflecting his commitment to service and social responsibility. Prior to commencing his medical education, Tomilola worked as a part-time teacher at Proper Child School from 2022 to 2023, an experience that strengthened his communication skills, discipline, and desire to mentor and uplift others.
