Adeniyi Israel Gbolahan is a 300-level Medicine and Surgery student at the University of Lagos. A scholar supported by Funmike Empowerment Foundation (FEF), reinforcing his commitment to academic excellence, personal growth, and purposeful service. He is focused on his medical training and long-term goal of giving back to society through healthcare and education.
Adeniyi Israel is a disciplined and purpose-driven individual inspired by excellence and impact. He strongly believes in continuous self-improvement and rejects mediocrity in any form. His journey as a scholar is marked by dedication to learning, leadership development, and a growing sense of responsibility toward community health and societal progress.
Alongside his medical education, Adeniyi is actively involved in teaching and imparting knowledge. He serves as the Director of Academics at Explicit Online Tutorials and works as a Physics online tutor, helping students overcome academic challenges and build confidence in Physics. He also co-authored a textbook titled The O’Level Guide to Physics, developed to simplify complex concepts and support secondary school students in achieving academic success.
He is a member of The Super Medics Initiative (TSMI), a student-led organization focused on community health advocacy and the empowerment of the girl child. Outside academics, Adeniyi enjoys playing volleyball and he’s a big fan of Messi and Stephen Curry.Â
