In a remarkable demonstration of community collaboration, the Funmike Empowerment Foundation, in partnership with Bestiz Group, has successfully provided a much-needed borehole water project to a village in Kuje, Abuja. This initiative stands as a testament to the power of partnerships and the profound impact they can have on improving lives.

The borehole project in Kuje Village was made possible through the generous donation by Bestiz Group and facilitated by the Funmike Empowerment Foundation. Recognizing the critical need for clean and accessible water in the village, both organizations joined forces to address this fundamental issue. Their shared vision and commitment to community development played a crucial role in bringing this project to fruition.
Kuje Village has long struggled with limited access to clean water, a challenge that has significantly impacted the daily lives of its residents. The introduction of a reliable water source through the borehole project has brought immense relief to the community, ensuring that residents no longer have to travel long distances to fetch water.

The journey to implement the borehole project began with a meeting with the village chief, the founder of Besitz Group { Mr Issa Abass Usman & Mr Michael Onyeachor and a thorough assessment of the village’s needs. Funmike Empowerment Foundation, leveraging its extensive experience in community development projects, coordinated with Bestiz Group to plan and execute the initiative. From the initial planning stages to the drilling and installation of the borehole, every step was meticulously managed to ensure the project’s success.
The commissioning of the borehole was a day of joy and celebration for Kuje Village as it was graced with the presence of esteemed guests like Senator Ireti Kinigbe( Senator representing FCT), Honourable Abdullahi Sabo ( Chairman, Kuje Area Council), The Ganmo ( Traditional ruler, Kuje Local Government Area ), The DPO ( Nigerian Police Force, Kuje Divisional Headquarters ), Community members, local leaders, representatives from Bestiz Group, volunteers from Funmike Empowerment Foundation, and well-wishers gathered to mark this significant milestone.
