Full Tuition

Institution at the time of award: College of Medicine, University of Lagos

Bamigbola Anthony Eniola is a 300-level Medicine and Surgery student at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos. As a beneficiary of the Funmike Empowerment Foundation Scholarship, he has been able to remain focused and consistent in his medical training while navigating the academic and personal demands of studying medicine. The support has provided stability that allows him to pursue his education with clarity, discipline, and renewed motivation.

Bamigbola is deeply committed to service and community engagement, particularly in areas that promote health, leadership, and social responsibility. He volunteered during World Cleanup Day 2024, participating in environmental sanitation across markets in Lagos State, and also served on the Registration Team at the African Future Summit 2025, supporting the smooth coordination of a large-scale leadership event. These experiences reflect his belief that meaningful impact often begins with simple acts of responsibility.

His interest in mentorship and youth development has been demonstrated through his role as a Student Coach at the HSE Cultural and Art Camp 2025, where he worked closely with secondary school students to encourage teamwork and creativity. Bamigbola has also shown practical commitment to healthcare advocacy by donating blood during Your Power to Gift Life 2.0, as well as contributing to student initiatives through media, publicity, and protocol roles during NFCS Week and the Provost Cup 2025.

Grounded in Christian values and guided by a strong sense of purpose, Bamigbola is determined to become a medical professional who combines competence with compassion. He is intentional about using his skills, leadership training, and service experiences to improve lives and contribute positively to society. Continued scholarship support plays a vital role in sustaining this journey and strengthening his resolve to serve with integrity and impact.
