Over time, she has developed strong interests in Maritime Law, Human Rights, and Medical Law.
Her academic journey has been marked by growth, courage, and consistency. In 2025, she was selected as one of 20 scholars out of over 200 applicants for the prestigious Funmike Empowerment Foundation Scholarship. She also gained international recognition as a Top 3 participant at the Record of Law International Legal Article Writing Boot Camp, where she published her first legal article on Medical Negligence. She further emerged as a Top 7 finalist in the Record of Law International Legal Article Writing Competition, proudly representing Nigeria as the only participant from the country. These experiences strengthened her confidence in research, writing, and critical thinking.
Beyond the classroom, Ayomide has intentionally sought practical legal exposure. She has interned with Shittu Ajibade, Olusola Fasugba & Associates, OMAPLEX Law Firm (OVIP ’25), and The Legal Gazette, India, gaining valuable experience in legal research and writing. She currently serves as Director of Programs of the Maritime Law Students Society, OAU, Assistant General Secretary of the West African Law Students’ Association (WALSA), South-West Zone, and Code of Conduct Female Representative for her class. She is also an alumna of the Aspire Leaders Program 2025 and a graduate of the Maendeleo Africa Fellowship ’25. In every space she occupies, she strives to lead with integrity, humility, and excellence.
Outside academics and leadership, Ayomide is deeply committed to advocacy and community impact. She volunteers with organizations such as Amnesty International, Ichoko Foundation (FGM Outreach), Plogging Nigeria, and other gender equality and education-focused initiatives. She is especially passionate about advancing SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 5 (Gender Equality). Creative at heart, she also expresses herself through fashion design, graphic design, and content writing. Above all, she is a lover of God and faithfully serves in her church as a Steward. She believes in discipline, continuous learning, and living a life that reflects both purpose and compassion.
