Owodunni Olugbenga Joshua is a 400 level Pharmacy student of Obafemi Awolowo University , Ile-Ife, who is passionate about having a drug-free society. He is a community health enthusiast and anti-drug abuse advocate who has volunteered for many community health outreaches. As a pharmacist in training, his goal is to help find lasting solution and cure to diseases that are currently only being managed but have no cure. These diseases include hepatitis B, asthma, HIV and AIDS etc as many people with these diseases cannot afford the cost of managing such diseases.
Outside the classroom, he had volunteered as a graphic designer for few NGOs. He is currently the Team Lead,Media and Publicity, Anti-Drug Misuse and Abuse Program (ADMAP) OAU Chapter; National President, National Fellowship of Christian Pharmacy Students (NFCPS NIGERIA); Organizing Secretary, Latter Glory Students` Fellowship (LAGLOSEF); Member, Maintenance Committee, PANS-OAU. The scholarship by FUNMIKE EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION is a relief to the financial burden of his parent and has made him focus squarely on his academics.
