Umar Abdulganiyy, a 400-level Mechatronics Engineering student at Federal University of Technology Minna with a CGPA of 4.65. My journey into engineering innovation began with a deep fascination for solving Africa’s challenges through technology, renewable energy access, agricultural efficiency, and space systems.
As co-founder of SolarPeer 360 and KANJIFLY, I have led teams to secure over ₦10 million in grants and international recognition, including presenting at the NextGen Innovation Challenge in London and publishing research at AICCEES 2025. I have trained over 3,500 young Nigerians in STEM and AI, driven by the belief that accessible education and innovation can transform communities.
