Esther Oluwafunmike Salami’s journey toward independence commenced at the tender age , thrusting her into a world where survival became the ultimate priority. With relentless determination, she navigated through days filled with unyielding struggles, balancing the demands of education and employment to ensure a brighter future for herself, family and anyone she comes in contact with.Despite facing relentless challenges, including balancing a full-time job while pursuing an education, Oluwafunmike persevered. Her journey has instilled in her a deep understanding of the transformative power of a helping hand, propelling her to establish Funmike Empowerment Foundation.
The mission of Funmike Empowerment Foundation is clear: to empower marginalized communities by providing access to essential resources and opportunities for sustainable development. Rooted in compassion, integrity, inclusivity, transparency, and accountability, the foundation aims to break the cycle of poverty and inequality through education, healthcare, vocational training, and community development initiatives.

Past achievements include a successful charity event in the Makoko community in Lagos, Nigeria, where nearly 700 individuals were reached, and scholarships were granted to deserving students.
Additionally, recent efforts have catered to 800 children and parents, providing essential school supplies, food items, and health services to the underserved community.
